Whistle Stops Vs Requirements Schedule
The "Whistle Stops" are:
- Whistle Stop 1 is in the Boardwalk Ballroom. Scouts will enter the Boardwalk Ballroom and head for their Troop's 5-five table area where they will divide into five separate Patrols of 8 Scouts, one patrol at each table along with 2 adult Merit Badge Counselors. The Scout with the highest rank and time in grade will be the SPL for their respective Troop. The Patrol Leaders will be the highest & longest in rank at each of the 5 tables. Time: 8:05 am to 8:15 am. The adult Merit Badge Counselors will verity the completion of the 2 prerequisites. Time: 8:15 am to 8:45. Note: Your Troop number for this event will be assigned as part of the registration process. See the "Registration" menu item for details.
- Whistle Stop 2: requirement 2 will be conducted in the Boardwalk Ballroom - look for a grouping of tables with Whistle Stop 4 on the Table.
- Whistle Stop 3: requirement 3 will be conducted in the Boardwalk Ballroom - look for a grouping of tables with Whistle Stop 4 on the Table.
- Whistle Stop 4: requirement 4 will be conducted in the Boardwalk Ballroom - look for a grouping of tables with Whistle Stop 4 on the Table.
- Whistle Stop 5: requirement 5 is a prerequisite as is verified as part of Whistle Stop 1.
- Whistle Stop 6: requirement 6 will be conducted in the Boardwalk Ballroom - look for a grouping of tables with Whistle Stop 6 on the Table.
- Whistle Stop 7: requirement 7 will be conducted in the Boardwalk Ballroom - look for a grouping of tables with Whistle Stop 7 on the Table.
- Whistle Stop 8: requirement 8: Your SPL will lead you to the Calico & Ghost Town Railroad Depot boarding area.
- Whistle Stop 9a: Your SPL will lead your Troop to the "Tour of the Railroad Roundhouse." Note: There is no requirement associated with this Whistle Stop and is for your enjoyment & pleasure. This Tour is not normally open to the public.
- Whistle Stop 9b: Your SPL will lead your Troop to the Tour of the Durango Parlor Car and the Edna Business Car. Note: there is no requirement associated with this Whistle Stop and is for your enjoyment & pleasure. This is your opportunity to visit two Specialty Cars built in the early 1880s. These cars are not normally open to the public.

Note: After the completion of last Whistle Stop at 12:55 pm, the Scouts of Troop 2, Troop 7 & Troop 8 will fold up the table and chairs at their respective Whistle Stop and carry them back to the Boardwalk Ballroom and leave them just inside the doors.
