Print a copy of this list and be sure to read it before you leave for Knott's Berry Farm
If you do each of these items, you will have met the meaning of the Scout Motto! "Be Prepared!"
You will then glide through the preparation and execution of this Merit Badge Day & have a really wonderful time at this event!"
- All Scouts must be in a Class A uniform. Remember you are a member of the largest youth group Chartered by the Congress of the United States of America.
- Get your Scoutmaster signed Blue Card for the Railroading Merit Badge and have it COMPLETELY & PROPERLY FILLED OUT. See the Blue Card Instructions
- Down load a copy of the Special Railroading Merit Badge Day at Knott's Berry Farm Workbook.
- Complete Prerequisites 1a, 1b & 1c and 5a, 5b, & 5c in the Workbook before arriving at Knott's Berry Farm. The workbook is a writable and savable 'pdf' file. Use your PC to complete the prerequisites. Then print the Workbook.
- Bring the Workbook with you when you go to Knott's Berry Farm.
- You will need a cell phone camera, digital camera, video camcorder or you will have to sketch your answer for requirements 8b1 & 8b2. If you buddy up, then only one camera or camcorder is needed for your entire buddy group.
- You will need to bring a pencil with a big eraser.
- Don't wait until the morning of the event to get yourself, prerequisites and your Workbook ready.
- If you are being dropped off or come with someone else, make sure you have money for the FUN things later in the day and evening.
